Welcome to Nefi Paca, an alpaca farm in the heart of Snowdonia. At Nefi we love alpacas of all colours and breed them to the highest standard. Every year we have a select few for sale. Our studs are also available for mobile matings throughout north and mid- Wales as well as the western half of Shropshire.

For the fibre artist or artisan, there is something special about working with fleeces from your own animals. You will get to know the different qualities of each part of the fleece of each alpaca, and make your own best choices.
Alpacas make fabulous field pets – less work than horses, more interesting than sheep! Their intelligence and inquisitive nature make them fun to be around. They are tough and easy to care for, produce fertiliser in relatively neat piles for the garden and do an excellent job keeping grass down.
Alpacas have strong herd instincts and will work together to protect the more vulnerable members of the herd – the heavily pregnant and the crias. An alpaca kept with sheep comes to regard them as its herd (flock), and will then take steps to see off any predator that comes near.
